Loop-Powered Meters
Panel Mount
PD683: Loop-Powered Panel Meter There's nothing stripped down or bare bones about these loop-powered indicators; they're designed for demanding process control applications. Standard features include a full 5-digit backlit display with bargraph, on-screen custom engineering units, and max/min display capabilities. There are two models available: the PD683 is for general-purpose applications. Even with all the features packed into these meters, they're still easy to setup and get running. Everything is programmed from the front panel buttons with no pots or jumpers to deal with. In fact, these indicators can be scaled without a signal source for even quicker setup.
PD684: Loop-Powered Flow Rate/Totalizer The PD684 goes just about anywhere with its shallow-depth case, FM Type 4X front, loop-powered backlighting, and wide operating temperature range. It doesn't matter if it's indoors or outdoors, in bright sunlight, or a dimly lit plant, wet, dirty, hot or cold. Square root and programmable exponent functions are standard features. With these features, this indicator can display flow rate and total from a DP transmitter or open channel flow in weirs and flumes.

PD662: 3 1/2+ Digit NEMA 4X Meter The PD662 Hatchet NEMA 4X loop-powered meter is perfect for applications where a simple, inexpensive display is required and AC power is not available. That’s because the PD662 derives all its power from the 4-20 mA loop. The PD662 is scaled using four push buttons and can be done without applying an actual calibration signal. The PD662’s display will read up to 2,999; we call this 3½+ digits! The loop-powered backlighting option lets you see the display under any lighting condition and is powered completely from the 4-20 mA loop. This means there is no need for additional wiring and never any batteries to change. The PD662 Hatchet is housed in rugged NEMA 4X enclosure and is provided with one ½" conduit hole. The PD662 is available with an optional 24 VDC powered heater that allows the PD662 to operate in temperatures as low as -55°C.
PD675: 4½ Digit NEMA 4X Meter FM & CSA Use these 4-1/2 digit Loop-powered meters to display numbers up to 19,999 with 1 count resolution. That is, they will display numbers like 7124, 15697 or 124.78 as "whole numbers" -- no dummy zeroes or multipliers needed! These new meters are also available in 3 enclosure types: Panel mount, NEMA 4X, and Explosion-proof so they can be located almost anywhere in the plant. Options include open collector high-level-alarm output and square root extraction. The PD677-N-EX, PD677-A-EX, PD678-N-EX and PD678-A -EX have been FM, CSA and CENELEC approved as explosion-proof as complete products- not just the enclosures.
PD685: 3½ Digit NEMA 4X Meter The PD685 is a low-cost NEMA 4X loop-powered meter that features a 1-inch high 3½ digit LCD. The PD685 is easy to program and calibrate and operates over a wide temperature range. Options include a panel mount kit and a 2” pipe mounting kit.
PD686: 3 1/2 Digit NEMA 4X Meter FM & CSA The PD686 is the lowest priced Loop-powered Meter with a 1 inch high display that has been approved by both FM and CSA as intrinsically safe and nonincendive. It has been approved for mounting in all hazardous locations and can be connected to a wide variety of other FM and CSA approved devices. Calibration is a quick two-step process involving the adjustment of only two non-interacting potentiometers.
